Blues

Talkin' 'bout blues. What do you think? Blues is a genre and musical form which is originated from African-American communities in the "Deep South" of the United States around the end of the 19th century. This genre was developed from roots in African-American work songs combined with European folk music and also some Negro spirituals. The instruments which are usually used in this genre are guitar, bass guitar, piano, harmonica, upright bass, drums, saxophone, vocals, trumpet, cornet, and trombone. The blues form is characterized by the call-and-response pattern, the blues scale, and specific chord progressions, of which the twelve-bar blues is the most common. Blues shuffles or walking bass reinforce the trance-like rhythm and form a repetitive effect called groove.

My comment when I was typing this was "Hmm, interesting." Okey. Let me summarize that the key of Blues is the drum's beats -of course-, the guitar with that groovy fingering, the jazzy drums, and what makes this different with jazz is the piano playing. Hmm. Idk how to put it into words so...

Here is some blues music from B.B. King called "The Thrill is Gone"
