Okay, now let's start to talk about country music. Country music is a genre of American popular music which is originated from the Southern United States in 1920s. It takes its roots from the Appalachian folk, blues, Celtic folk, and old-time music. Some instruments that are typically played in country music is acoustic guitar, drums, fiddle, bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, double bass, piano, organ, dobro, electric guitar, steel guitar, pedal steel guitar, and harmonica.

Woah, what a lot of stuffs in there. But, basically, I guess you guys know what country music is. "Oh yeah, that country-ish voice and that country-ish guitar tap, I know I know." Country music is called "country" because this term was made by American and came from another older American folk music (whispering: you know, Americans). So, "country" is supposed to point to the America country. But, other countries would still call the country music as "country" because, well, that is the term which anybody would agree with this kind of music.

Here's some country music from Fiddlin' John Carson, "Fare You Well Old Joe Clark"
